NOUN - Tour
a journey for business, pleasure, or education often involving a series of stops and ending at the starting point
The purpose of a spiritual retreat is to temporarily leave behind the usual distractions we all face, for a time long enough to allow relaxation and for an inner change to occur: taking time to develop the ongoing connection with the heart that is critical to deepening your trust and faith in life.
As opposed to having to fight through your routine to form a creative schedule you can go on retreat and get encouraged by the example of others. You go back home and re-establish your life in a new way. Retreats are important because people leave retreats feeling fitter, rested, happier and clearer.
